Weve given the initial drawings to the appropriate people in the (city), and soon well be going to Washtenaw County to get approvals for the work we want to be doing. The remodeling, when completed, should expand the kitchen area as well as the seating. The couple plans on arching out the brick walls to connect both buildings. The current kitchen space will be taken apart and converted into a bar area with additional seating. Landrum hopes to keep the small and cozy feeling of the original space as they expand. We built a place that is very casual, cozy and friendly. You can come in here with or without kids, and it has a comfy neighborhood feel to it, Landrum said.
