When I asked my wife what she wanted for her birthday, I was a bit surprised with her answer. Okay, I was actually a lot surprised. She is not the type to ask for diamond necklaces or a cruise to the Bahamas, but I also thought she was not the type to ask for a Breezecatcher clothesline either. I thought she was pulling my leg at first, but she told me she was absolutely serious about wanting to hang clothes outside. She didn’t want an old fashioned clothes line either where it is stretched between two metal poles across the yard.
While she had nothing against that particular style as far as drying clothes is concerned, she did not want to lose that much yard space to the poles and line. She had seen the Breezecatcher clothes line online, and she knew that it would be perfect for her. When she showed it to me, I was surprised at how small it was. I knew that it would fit perfectly on the side of the house, where a traditional clothes line would have never fit. I decided to go ahead and get it for her since she seemed to have her heart set on it.
When it was delivered, it did not take me long at all to get it set up for her. It is extremely sturdy, and she started using it that same day. I am not the type of person to really be able to tell a lot of things about laundry, but there was a certain pleasure in wearing the shirts that she had hung out. They just smelled and felt different, but it was not just the shirts. The towels and bed linens are the same, and I am a big fan of hanging clothes out to dry now too.
