Editor Christina Parker gives up headlines and deadlines for fun and sun – Media Town Talk – Delco News Network He is hoping that as people mingle in the cocktail parties, they’ll find common interests and get together in giving circles or parties with a purpose and find ways to help. “That’s a nice outcome for the current year,” Leopold said. Designed For Living: Dining Room Redesign Anything But ‘square’ – Home And Gardening – Northjersey.com

Redesign my living room For the focal wall, we originally considered wallpaper. Although we found one in the perfect colors, the squares were too small. So we collaborated with a faux painter to create a similar design, but with proportions better suited to the space. The geometric-patterned area rug was the perfect design but needed some punch, so we added a red border shot through with gold threads. Valve’s Steam Controller looks less revolutionary with every redesign | PCWorld Mayer herself attended calibration meetings where these kinds of arbitrary judgments occurred. The senior executives who reported to Mayer would join her in a meeting at Phish Food and hold up spreadsheets of names and ratings. During the revamping of Yahoo Mail, for instance, Kathy Savitt, the C.M.O., noted that Vivek Sharma was bothering her. He just annoys me, she said during the meeting. I dont want to be around him. And we reacted with confusion. “Bizarre,” we said, “but I guess I’ll give it a shot.” Then some of us gave it a shot and were all, “Well, I guess it’s okay. I just don’t think I’d ever use one instead of an Xbox 360 controller.” Valve apparently heard us, first adding two diamonds of buttons onto the controller , similar to a D-Pad and the ABXY block we’re all familiar with. Then they added a damn analog stick instead of the D-pad.
