Decorating a bedroom isnt that difficult, but many people have trouble trying to create a space that is relaxing and also filled with color, texture and pattern. One suggestion is to create either a mural (if youre lucky enough to be artistic, or you know someone who is), or a wall decal (shown below). Wall decals, incidentally, are a really hot trend for rooms right now, especially bedrooms. The great part about them is they easily come off your wall (unlike wallpaper!) so if you get sick of the design you can change it out. They also recommend using a comforter with a large pattern, or putting prints on other pieces in your bedroom (like a lampshade). That way if youre unsure of how to paint or add color, at least youve have the print of the comforter as a starting point. Another good trick is to use a white comforter and white walls, but just add color with lampshades, pictures, or other accessories.
